Statutory purpose
Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung der modernen Kunst, der Kunsterziehung, kultureller Werke, Institutionen und Projekte, insbesondere die Verwaltung des künstlerischen Nachlasses des Künstlers Johann Widmer und die Organisation von Ausstellungen und anderen Anlässen um die Werke des Künstlers zugänglich und nach seinem Tod weiter bekannt zu machen. Zudem will die Stiftung notleidende Künstler oder deren Witwen finanziell unterstützen. Die Stiftung kann zweckgebundene Grundstücke oder Immobilien erwerben (z.B. Lager, Ausstellungsräume, etc.).
