Die Stiftung initialisiert und fördert nach dem Prinzip "Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe" im In- und Ausland Projekte, welche das Ziel und das Potenzial haben, sich nach einer Anschubhilfe selbständig weiter zu entfalten, zu vervielfachen und damit einer zunehmenden Zahl von Menschen bessere Lebensbedingungen zu ermöglichen. Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinerlei Erwerbszwecke. Sie ist politisch und konfessionell neutral.
