Statutory purpose
Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung von Innovation, Exzellenz und Zukunftspotential an der Universität Bern im Kontext von deren Aufgaben und Tätigkeit namentlich in Forschung, Lehre und Weiterbildung. Diese Unterstützung dient somit auch der Stärkung des Wissenschafts- und Wirtschaftsstandorts Bern. Die Stiftung orientiert sich in ihrer Fördertätigkeit an der Strategie der Universität. Gewinn und Kapital der Stiftung sind ausschliesslich dem vorstehend genannten gemeinnützigen Zweck gewidmet. Die Stiftung ist politisch und konfessionell neutral. Die Stiftung verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke.
