Die Stiftung bezweckt die finanzielle Unterstützung von Vereinen, Gesellschaften, Organisationen und anderen Einrichtungen in der Nordwestschweiz, welche Hilfeleistungen an Betagte/Kranke erbringen (Motto: "Funken der Freude im Alter"). Die Stiftung verfolgt ihre Ziele als gemeinnützige, nicht auf Gewinn ausgerichtete Institution. Sie hat weder Erwerbs-, Selbsthilfe- noch kommerzielle Absichten. Das Stiftungsvermögen und allfällige Erträge daraus dürfen nur für den vorgenannten oder gegebenenfalls einen ähnlichen Zweck verwendet werden.
