Die Stiftung bezweckt, das Verständnis der Jugendlichen für wissenschaftlich-technische Fragen zu fördern und sie dabei auch über Ausbildungs- und Laufbahnmöglichkeiten in der Wissenschaft und der Wirtschaft zu orientieren. Die Stiftung betreibt dazu die Internetplattform "SimplyScience". Die Stiftung ist im Rahmen ihres Zweckes in der gesamten Schweiz tätig. Sie kann Aktivitäten Dritter unterstützen, die denselben Zweck verfolgen. Zur Erreichung ihres Zweckes kann sie mit international tätigen Organisationen zusammenarbeiten. Die Stiftung verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck und strebt keinen Gewinn an.
