Die Stiftung bezweckt die Ausrichtung von finanziellen Beiträgen an Entwicklungsprojekte, die zur Linderung von Not und Armut in der dritten Welt sowie zur Erhaltung der natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen in diesen Ländern dienen. Sie kann ebenfalls eigene Projekte im Ausland organisieren und finanzieren. Die Ausrichtung von Beträgen erfolgt auf Anfrage von Dritten sowie durch den Stiftungsrat auf eigene Initiative.
