Finazierung und Mitfinanzierung von Studien- respektive Postgraduate-Aufenthalten junger Basler Mediziner und Biologen an Universitäten oder entsprechenden Lehr- und Forschungsanstalten in Israel. Dadurch soll neben der Förderung von Wissenschaft und Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Medizin und Biologie - insbesondere der Krebsforschung - auch ein Beitrag zum Aufbau neuer Kontakte zwischen jungen Wissenschaftern in der Schweiz und Israel sowie zu besserer Kenntnis des allgemeinen Lebens in Israel geleistet werden.
