Statutory purpose
Die Stiftung bezweckt auf ausschliesslich gemeinnütziger Basis vorwiegend in der Region Basel die finanzielle Unterstützung Bedürftiger, die Unterstützung Jugendlicher bei ihrem Einstieg ins Arbeitsleben und die Förderung Jugendlicher in ihrer Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung; ferner unterstützt die Stiftung Kulturschaffende, die in wirtschaftliche Bedrängnis geraten sind. Die Unterstützung erfolgt durch direkte Zuwendungen an die Betroffenen, durch die Förderung von Projekten, die dem Stiftungszweck entsprechen, oder durch Zuwendungen an gemeinnützige Institutionen, die gleiche Ziele wie die Stiftung verfolgen.
