Statutory purpose
Förderung der Naturwissenschaften und der Pharmazie durch Ausrichtung von Beiträgen und Preisen aus dem Ertrag, eventuell aus dem Stiftungsvermögen an die Forschung und Ausbildung und die gleichzeitige Unterstützung damit zusammenhängender kultureller Bestrebungen, vor allem in Fällen, in denen die öffentliche Hand (z.B. der Schweizerische Nationalfonds oder der Kanton Zürich) keine oder nur ungenügende Beiträge leistet. Die Stiftungsurkunde enthält weitere Bestimmungen darüber, wie dieser Zweck erreicht werden kann.
