Unterstützung von Familienmitgliedern der Gründerfamilie der J.A. Schnell-Firmengruppe, die unverschuldet in Not geraten oder infolge Krankheit hilfsbedürftig sind. Unterstützung in Form laufender oder einmaliger Leistungen aus den Erträgen der Stiftung, auch als Ausbildungs- und Studienbeihilfen, letzteres jedoch nur bis zur Erreichung des 30. Lebensjahres.
