Statutory purpose
Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung sowie den Erhalt des professionellen Handwebens als eigenständiger Beruf. Sie schafft die Möglichkeit, das Handwerk des Handwebens von Grund auf und in Übereinstimmung mit dem Berufsreglement von Bund und Kanton (BBT) zu erlernen. Sie bildet Lernende aus und sorgt dafür, dass die Angestellten Arbeit und einen Verdienst haben. Die Tessanda ist nicht gewinnorientiert. Zur Deckung der Betriebs- und Geschäftskosten werden die eigenen Produkte sowie Handelsware vermarktet.
