Die Stiftung bezweckt Not zu lindern, vor allem Alte und Gebrechliche zu erfreuen und Kranke zu heilen. Die Stiftung soll zur Zweckerreichung Einzelpersonen und Institutionen unterstützen, die die Erbauung ihrer Mitmenschen zum Ziel haben, insbesondere durch Unterstützung sozialer Projekte, kultureller Projekte und Institutionen, die für die Bevölkerung erbauend, erfreuend, informativ oder auch lehrreich sind, sowie von Einzelpersonen, die sich in gesundheitlicher Not befinden oder sich für kulturelle Belange engagieren. In geographischer Hinsicht soll die Stiftung hauptsächlich, jedoch nicht ausschliesslich regionale Projekte und Institutionen bzw. Einzelpersonen, die in der Region ansässig sind, unterstützen.
