Statutory purpose
Mit einem Ombudsman Kunden von Mitgliedinstituten der Schweizerischen Bankiervereinigung sowie von weiteren mit der Schweizerischen Bankiervereinigung zu diesem Zweck affiliierten Instituten eine neutrale und unabhängige Informations- und Vermittlungsstelle ohne Rechtsprechungsbefugnis zur Verfügung zu stellen. Die Tätigkeit des Ombudsman erstreckt sich auf das ganze Gebiet der Schweiz.
