Die Stiftung bezweckt den Betrieb des Alters- und Pflegeheims St. Otmar (in der Liegenschaft Minervastrasse 8, 8032 Zürich, im Eigentum der Stifterin). Das Alters- und Pflegeheim St. Otmar wird in der Tradition der Diakonie in einer ökumenisch christlichen Haltung geführt und steht Menschen aller Konfessionen und Weltanschauungen offen. Die Führung orientiert sich nicht am Profit, sondern am Wohl der Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner. Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinerlei Erwerbs- oder Selbsthilfezweck. Ein allfälliger Gewinn fliesst in den Erneuerungsfonds des Hauses.
